Narrow, side-specific plate design
WINSTA-PH2 offers an anatomical plate design with right and left plate variants for the secure fixation of 2-, 3- and 4-fragment-fractures even in osteopathic bones. WINSTA-PH2 plates have 10 screw holes proximally and up to 17 screw holes distally. The screw holes can be combined with locking and non-locking screws.
Special screw design
Well arranged system for increased stability
The diverging and converging screw alignment in the proximal part of the plate increases stability in osteoporotic bone. Complex fractures are fixed in the humeral head by individually applicable screw positions

Anatomically adapted design
Asymmetrical dorsal broadening for secure fixation of the major tubercle.
Stabilization of fractures near to the neck
The patented screw axis running in a distal direction in the transition zone serves to support the humeral head.
Suture fixation of the rotator cuff
Six strongly rounded angled drill holes in the edge area of the proximal plate
Locking screws with a diameter of 3,5 or 4,0 mm
For poor bone quality locking cancellous screws with a diameter of 4,0 mm can be used
Percutaneous insertion
With the aid of the appropriate targeting device, it is possible to treat fractures via a percutaneous approach.
Material
Plates made of type II anodized titanium reduce the risk of cold welding
